Most submissions are reviewed within 24 hours. We manually review every listing to ensure quality — your website needs to be live and your startup needs to be a real product, not a placeholder page.

Common reasons: the website is down or under construction, the listing is a duplicate of an existing company, or the submission doesn't meet our content guidelines. You'll receive a notification with the reason, and you can resubmit after addressing the issue.

Yes. You can update your name, description, logo, links, and other details from your account. Edits go through a quick review to maintain quality standards, then go live automatically.

Tiers determine your visibility on the platform. Free gives you a standard listing and a 1x plot in Indie Forest. Pro (2x presence) unlocks Startup Shores. Yes. You can upgrade at any time and the change takes effect immediately — your map presence, badge, and region update automatically. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

All paid tiers are monthly subscriptions managed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, you keep your current tier until the end of the billing period, then revert to Free.

Verification is optional but strongly recommended. Verified listings show a green checkmark, rank higher in search results, and are more trusted by visitors. It proves you actually own the startup you've listed.

The world map is an interactive 3D landscape where every listed startup has a plot. Visitors can fly through three distinct regions — Indie Forest, Startup Shores, and Silicon Summit — and discover companies by exploring the terrain.

Plots are assigned within your tier's region. Free startups are placed in Indie Forest, Pro and Elite in Startup Shores, and Apex in Silicon Summit. Your plot size scales with your tier — Apex plots are 8x the size of Free plots.

Plots are assigned automatically within your region to ensure fair distribution. However, your tier determines your region, and higher tiers have more prominent, visible positions.

Any signed-in user can vote for a startup — one vote per user per company. Votes are permanent and contribute to your all-time count and your 7-day trending score.

Technically yes, but one vote won't move the needle. Focus on building a product people genuinely want to support. The leaderboard rewards real community engagement, not self-promotion.

Reviews go through two stages: email verification (the reviewer proves their email is real) and manual approval (the Wrapt team checks for quality and relevance). This keeps reviews honest and spam-free.

We use magic link authentication. Enter your email on the sign in page, click the link in the email we send you, and you're in. No passwords.

Yes. Contact us and we'll remove your listing and associated data. If you just want to take a break, you can also request your listing be temporarily hidden.
